The most popular social network Facebook is about to reach a billion users. The obsession with Facebook inspired the Croatian designer Tomislav Zvonarić to create an interesting item – a Facebook bed. Although still a prototype this F-shaped bed has become very popular. Many people all over the world want to buy such a piece of furniture.
As I mentioned the bed has an F shape which looks exactly like the Facebook logo. A working area is built on the upper section of the letter or more precisely a desk with a computer where users can constantly check their Facebook updates. A keypad holder, a cup holder, a mouse shelf and a red-colored chair with the Facebook logo on it are the other amenities that users can enjoy. The designer gave the finishing touch to his creation by adding a pillow with Facebook logos on it and a coverlet with popular icons from the social network.
“I wanted to create a design that emphasized the connection between Facebook and its users,” said Zvonarić. “I’ve already received a lot of inquiries from people all over the world about where to buy it, and I’d love to work with Facebook to turn it into a reality.” Let’s hope that soon we can find the Facebook in retail stores.
